The Wallingford Historic Preservation Trust - Our Projects
Our projects are based upon our four major properties:
The Nehemiah Royce House
(circa 1672).
Built just two years after our town was founded, this classic New England saltbox is the oldest house in Wallingford.
|
The Joseph Blakeslee House
(circa 1780).
A modest eighteenth century farmhouse located on the three acre Kilshire Farm site.
|
The Franklin and Harriet Johnson Mansion
(circa 1866).
A stately Victorian mansion that, once it is restored, will house the collection of The American Silver Museum.
|
The Muddy River Schoolhouse
(circa 1810).
Wallingford's last one room schoolhouse, which is currently dismantled and in storage, awaiting reconstruction on the Kilshire Farm site.
