The Wallingford Historic Preservation Trust - Our Projects

Our projects are based upon our four major properties:

The Nehemiah Royce House
(circa 1672). Built just two years after our town was founded, this classic New England saltbox is the oldest house in Wallingford.
The Joseph Blakeslee House
(circa 1780). A modest eighteenth century farmhouse located on the three acre Kilshire Farm site.
The Franklin and Harriet Johnson Mansion
(circa 1866). A stately Victorian mansion that, once it is restored, will house the collection of The American Silver Museum.
The Muddy River Schoolhouse
(circa 1810). Wallingford's last one room schoolhouse, which is currently dismantled and in storage, awaiting reconstruction on the Kilshire Farm site.
